The calendar for year 2005 issued by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (I&B), Government of India, honours Indian musicians. The twelve main pages feature the four Bharat Ratnas and eight other great musicians of the past. Mugshots of 54 other musicians no longer among us are also featured. A footnote on the calendar says: “We could not accomodate more luminaries of the past for shortage of space. We hope to include them in future calendars.”
