The 2005 calendar issued by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, honours Indian musicians. The twelve main pages feature the four Bharat Ratnas and eight other great musicians of the past (i.e. now deceased). Mugshots of 54 other musicians no longer among us are also featured. Since I did not have immediate access to a scanner that processed oversized pages, most of the images have been pruned. A footnote on the calendar declares: "We could not accomodate more luminaries of the past for shortage of space. We hope to include them in future calendars."
