About Narayanrao Vyas
Narayanrao Vyas belonged to the Gwalior tradition and was among the premier disciples of Vishnu Digambar Paluskar.

“Narayanrao Vyas (b. 1902), a highly talented vocalist, was born in a rich family. Proficient in playing Harmonium, Tabla and Jalatarang, Narayanrao could sing bhajans beautifully. He made a number of disc recordings. He was honoured with several awards including the President’s Award in 1967. He passed away on April 4, 1984.”
