Pandit Maniram (1920-1990) was one of the leading vocalists of his time. He was trained by his father Pandit Motiram…After the death of his father he was made court musician of Hyderabad. Later, he became a court-musician of the Shahanand state. At a later stage he stayed in Calcutta and trained a number of students.
