About Limayebuwa
Anandrao Limaye (“Limayebuwa”) of Kolhapur comes from the Atrauli-Jaipur line of vocalists. He received his training from Alladiya Khan’s direct disciple Govindrao Shaligram. He was a musician of considerable power and specialized in unusual and rare ragas.
