About Khadim Hussain Khan

Khadim Hussain Khan was the son of Altaf Hussain Khan. His musical training was under Kallan Khan. He is an excellent singer of Khayal and has trained several disciples such as Vatsala Kumthekar, Krishna Udayavarkar, Kumud Wagle, Jyotsna Bhole, Shyamala Mazgaonkar and others. He also has disciples in the film world such as Surendra, Suraiyya and Madhubala. Since 1925 he has lived in Bombay.
