Bahadur Khan (1933-1989), a well-known Sarod player, was born in Brahmanbaria (now in Bangladesh). In his boyhood he was taken to Maihar by his uncle Allauddin Khan and given an intensive and rigid training under his care…His compositions and direction for ‘Pancha Tantra’ and other productions for the ‘Little Ballet Troupe’ set a new trend in music for the stage.
