I took these photographs during a Hindustani vocal performance of Pandit Ramashreya Jha “Ramrang” at the Ravi Shankar Centre in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, on February 24, 2007. Accompanying him were Akram Khan on the tabla and Mehmood Dholpuri on the harmonium. Ramrang opened with Raga Shyam Kalyan, and followed with two khayals in Raga Gara. The mehfil concluded with a thumri.
