These photographs were taken at a Hindustani vocal performance of Pandit Ramashreya Jha "Ramrang" at the Ravi Shankar Centre in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, on February 24, 2007. Accompanying him were Akram Khan on tabla and Mehmood Dholpuri on harmonium.
Ramrang opened with Raga Shyam Kalyan. Then followed two khayals in Raga Gara. The mehfil concluded with a thumri.
All the photographs in this gallery were taken with the Canon EOS 5D and the following lenses: Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS during the concert and Canon EF 135mm f/2 L for the day portraits.
