The ancient Kurumba Bhagavathi temple at Kodungallur (aka Cranganore), the great port town of yore. The Devi's idol at this temple is carved out of a jackfruit tree. Ilango Adigal is said to have written his celebrated Tamil epic, Cillapadikaram, in this town, and some sources attribute the construction of the temple to Adigal's brother Chenguttavan.
